I usually call upon the Holy Spirit while holding the book with eyes closed & ask the HS to direct me in what area He wants me to focus and pray at that moment & when I open it randomly it ALWAYS open to a spot on prayer & scripture! God is so good & always comes through! This book has helped in more ways than I can ever explain. Thank you so much!

I bought this book years ago and realized quickly that I would not diligently commit to a book for 31 days straight. So I resolved to give myself some grace and read/write in it when I felt drawn. It has been especially helpful on those nights filled with worry or sadness for my daughter. I would sit alone, read the next section, and then write a personal prayer for her specifically. I used the 2nd page to write "etc"... points I wanted to pray and watch God move in them. Eventually, when I finish this book (I have no timeline), I will give it to my daughter as a testimony of how God has grown her and that mother was never perfect, but she was praying.
